The position is limited until 28.02.2027 (with reason). What you can expect:

For the Diagnostics Operations, Assay Production Mannheim, we are looking for an experienced Chemical Laboratory Technician to support our team. Your tasks will include:

  • Performing and documenting complex production processes, including DAT and TDM controls for drug monitoring products and titration of DAT and TDM reagents.
  • Preparing complex productions, including requirements, testing, and calculation of necessary materials/equipment, as well as setting up, adjusting, and cleaning production equipment.
  • Handling the adjustment process, in-process control, and product testing of reagents from the drug monitoring portfolio, conducting complex measurements on Roche analyzers, evaluating the results, and documenting in GMP-compliant manner.
  • Participating in projects such as the introduction of new coagulation parameters and handling non-routine tasks and inquiries, including creating specifications in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Managing deviations, recognizing and reporting anomalies, and contributing to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Adhering to regulatory requirements from IVDD, quality system regulations, GMP standards, and legal safety and environmental regulations.
  • Actively contributing to the GO Lean program (continuous improvement) in operations.

Who you are:

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • An successfully completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable qualification, with several years of experience in pharmaceutical/diagnostic manufacturing.
  • Experience in producing immunological products and evaluating them on Roche analyzers.
  • Enjoyment in product/process optimization and openness to changes due to regulatory requirements or digitization, with experience using tools like Hype.
  • Creativity, discipline, and structured work approach. Comfort working in a dynamic environment and engaging in close collaboration with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to regularly lift and move loads up to 25kg and experience with forklift operation.
  • Willingness to work in shifts between 06:00 and 20:00 hours.
