U.S. Air Forces, Europe at Ramstein Lodging seeks a general labor associate to perform manual-labor tasks using common hand tools and simple power equipment.
This NAF position requires physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds and moving furniture on dollies and loaded carts around the facility. Applicants should be able to read simple instructions and follow signs, and have the stamina to work in varied positions.
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Ramstein Lodging facility. This position may offer logistical support. The purpose of this position is to perform manual-labor tasks involving the use of common hand tools and simple power equipment for Ramstein Lodging. Exerts moderately heavy physical effort, lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and frequently pushing heavy objects such as furniture on dollies and loaded carts.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Manual skill and knowledge to operate simple power equipment, such as powered push lawnmowers, leaf blowers, weed trimmers and low-pressure sprayer. Knowledge of basic hand tools such as hand saws, hatchets, clippers. Ability to read and follow simple signs and specific written and/or oral instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.
