We are looking for a full-time laboratory technician, starting immediately, to join our growing team.

Tasks
  • Provide experimental support to the scientific team by conducting a wide array of laboratory work
  • Independently perform standardised experimental workflows with accuracy and precision
  • Implement new methods and workflows under the guidance of senior scientists
  • Collaborate with the team to analyse and discuss experimental results
  • Manage and organise our laboratory, including management of supplies and shipments
Requirements
  • Completed apprenticeship as a biological or chemical laboratory assistant (BTA, CTA), or a comparable qualification (B. Sc)
  • Experience in working with cell cultures (bacteria and/or human cell lines)
  • Familiarity with various molecular biology techniques (e.g. cloning, gel electrophoresis, protein purification) is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Enjoys working in small and international teams
  • Communicative, reliable and open mindset with motivation to tackle challenges
  • Good knowledge of standard computer programmes (MS Office)
  • Good knowledge of English and German (written and spoken)
