Laboratory Technician (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of histological sections using rotary and sliding microtomes.
2. Processing of fresh biopsies and embedding of tissue.
3. Sample processing including H&E staining, macrodissections, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
4. Sample management: archiving, de-archiving, and preparation for shipment.
5. Preparation and execution of orders.
6. Maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment.
7. Working in a regulated environment (GCP).
8. Creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
9. Documentation and analysis of results.
10. Database entry and maintenance (using LIMS).
11. Preparation and follow-up of audits.
12. Support in establishing and validating new analyses.

Qualifications / Experience:

1. Completed training as a BTA, MTLA, CTA, or biological laboratory technician.
2. Work experience in related tasks is desirable.
3. Proficiency in English and German.
4. Proficient in MS Office.
5. Structured, responsible, and independent work style.
6. Strong communication skills and team spirit.
7. Additional CT-Gyn qualification (DGZ) or cytology skills are beneficial.
