Within Pharma Product Compliance, Analytical Services, Center of Excellence (CoE) Pharmaceuticals of the Hospital Care Division, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) at the Melsungen site as soon as possible, limited to the duration of a parental leave.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You will handle task packages that arise in the product life cycle in the field of analytical chemistry.
  • You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting complex analytical tasks (e.g., development & optimization, (re-)validation and transfer of chemical-analytical test procedures, compatibility studies, photostability studies, particle identification for existing products within the framework of the strategic objectives of CoE Pharmaceuticals, based on internationally valid standards such as ICH guidelines and internal requirements).
  • You will ensure the maintenance of a functional and operational laboratory, e.g., through timely maintenance/qualification of equipment.
  • You will create and update standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports of sufficient quality for approval procedures, inspections, and audits.
  • Additionally, you will review these documents for professional and technical accuracy, GMP compliance, and applicability.

Professional Skills:

  • You have successfully completed vocational training as a laboratory technician, BTA, CTA, PTA, or an equivalent technical education.
  • You possess profound knowledge and skills in analytical chemistry and its instrumental techniques.
  • You are confident in handling typical statistical terms used in analytical chemistry and analytical method validation.
  • You are comfortable using the required laboratory IT systems (e.g., LIMS & equipment software) and MS Office applications.
  • Your profile is completed by very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
