Main Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and perform routine and non-routine tests on materials, components, or projects (e.g. mechanical, electrical, chemical or thermal testing).
• Prepare test samples according to procedures or technical standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as microscopes, tensile testers, climate chambers, multimeters etc.
• Record test data and analyze results using basic data tools.
• Ensure lab safety and follow standard operation procedures.
• Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate test logs and reports.
• Support quality control and product verification activities.
• Manage lab inventory and handle materials, tools, and consumables responsibly.

Job Requirements & Qualification

• Completed training, diploma or degree in a technical filed (e.g. Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Laboratory Technology).
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory
• Ability to conduct tests and operate lab equipment (e.g., microscopes, tensile testers, multimeters, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of data recording, analysis and documentation.
• Familiarity with lab safety and hygiene standards.
• Attentions to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Communication skills in English and German mandate
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or other data reporting tools.
