Job Description

As a Laboratory Scientist, you’ll become part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to creating pioneering reagents and technologies that drive progress in cell analysis and cell therapy.

• Contribute to the development and optimization of reagents, especially flow cytometry applications, and design experiments to explore new scientific approaches.
• Daily tasks include handling samples, performing analyses using established laboratory methods, and documenting results.
• You will take an active role in supporting project management activities, including planning, executing, coordinating, and monitoring work packages within product development projects. Regular reporting on project progress will also be part of your responsibilities.
• Take an active role in improving processes and workflows, bringing your innovative ideas to the team.
• Collaboration is key in our interdisciplinary environment—you’ll work closely with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless workflows and shared knowledge.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a comparable field. Alternatively, you finished an apprenticeship as a BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant) or comparable and have relevant laboratory experience.
• Practical skills in bioconjugation, purification techniques, or flow cytometry form a solid basis for your work.
• You feel comfortable handling data, organizing experiments independently, and communicating scientific results with clarity.
• Experience in project management, teamwork in interdisciplinary settings, or supervising others is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is essential for daily communication and documentation; German language skills are a plus.
