The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for laboratory management and supporting ongoing projects within the R team. Working with various methods will make your daily work diverse and interesting.

This position reports to the Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R department located in Dassel, Germany. It is an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate laboratory tasks supporting projects
• Develop the next generation of rapid diagnostic tests with our Cytiva Diagnostic Services team
• Prepare chemical solutions and manage their disposal
• Document results and conduct evaluations
• Perform general laboratory organization and maintain equipment

Who you are:

• Completed training as a biological technical assistant (M/F/D), chemical technical assistant (BTA/CTA), or similar qualification
• Motivated, committed, and able to work independently with an analytical and conscientious approach
• Experience in a quality-controlled environment is advantageous
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Fluent in German; English skills are a plus

Travel and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel (specify %), including overnight stays and within designated regions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to specified weight, among other physical requirements
