Laboratory Assistant is responsible for laboratory management and supporting ongoing projects in the R&D team. Working with various methods will make your day-to-day work diverse and engaging.

This position reports to the Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R&D department located in Dassel, Germany. It is an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate laboratory tasks supporting projects
• Develop rapid diagnostic tests with our Cytiva Diagnostic Services team
• Prepare chemical solutions and substances and manage their disposal
• Document results and perform evaluations
• Maintain laboratory organization and equipment

Who you are:

• Completed training as a biological technical assistant (M/F/D), chemical technical assistant (BTA/CTA), or equivalent qualification
• Motivated, committed, and able to work independently, analytically, and conscientiously
• Experience in a quality-controlled environment is advantageous
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Fluent in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to travel—specify percentage, overnight stays, and locations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to specified weight, and other physical requirements
