The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for laboratory management and supporting ongoing projects within the R&D team. Working with various methods will make your daily work diverse and engaging.

This position reports to the Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R&D department located in Dassel, Germany. It is an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate laboratory tasks supporting projects
• Develop rapid diagnostic tests with our Cytiva Diagnostic Services team
• Prepare chemical solutions and substances and manage their disposal
• Document results and perform evaluations
• Organize laboratory activities and maintain equipment

Who you are:

• Completed training as a Biological Technical Assistant (M/F/D), Chemical Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA), or equivalent qualification
• Motivated, committed, and able to work independently with an analytical and conscientious approach
• Experience in a quality-controlled environment is advantageous
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Fluent in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to travel (specify %), including overnight stays within the territory or locations
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to a specified weight
