Our Division

Within Roche Diagnostics Operations Penzberg, we are responsible for manufacturing active ingredients for in-vitro diagnostics. Our team produces antibody polymers for the Elecsys portfolio and for Custom Biotech, serving as critical components in immuno-IVD diagnostics.

Your Responsibilities

1. Post a thorough onboarding, you will be responsible for producing anti-polymer substances in laboratory and pilot plant settings.
2. You will independently operate and monitor production equipment.
3. Conduct in-process controls using methods like HPLC, PCS, spectrophotometry, pH, and conductivity measurements.
4. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, documenting all steps according to DIN ISO and GMP.
5. Calibrate and maintain equipment, keep your workspace organized and clean.
6. Support scale-up and process optimization efforts.
7. Contribute ideas to improve and develop processes and workflows.

We Are Looking For

• Certified in chemistry or biology laboratory technology, CTA, MTA, BTA, or similar qualification.
• Practical experience in protein/biochemistry or chemistry is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical equipment for manual and semi-automated processes is advantageous.
• Team-oriented, persuasive, able to stay composed under pressure, and passionate about work.
• Proficient in MS Office, basic SAP knowledge, fluent in German and good English skills.
• Reliable, independent, meticulous in work approach.
