Job Description:

Marmon Foodservice Technologies Europe GmbH is seeking a Lab Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will coordinate all work within assigned projects, prepare engineering documents, and be responsible for testing and validation of new product development projects and VAVE projects in line with MFT processes. The role involves supporting product development from prototype to final build, implementing quality processes according to ISO 17025, and participating in audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all testing activities as per project plans
• Plan, execute, and report test results
• Participate in prototype build and design validation
• Develop reliability fixtures for lifecycle testing and evaluate failures
• Participate in cross-functional activities like failure analysis and quality issues
• Implement laboratory processes per ISO 17025
• Manage calibration programs and instrumentation needs

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
• 1-2 years’ experience in a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles
• Experience with laboratory measurement instruments measuring temperature, electrical, pressure parameters
• Familiarity with fluid handling and refrigeration systems is a plus
• Knowledge of laboratory practices such as 5S, Kanban, lean
• Knowledge of environmental chambers is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• English proficiency required; German is a benefit
• Knowledge of international test standards (IEC/UL/ISO) is desired
