Position: Knowledge Development Lawyer (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join our International Corporate Knowledge team in full-time at our offices in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, or Munich.

Reporting to our Head of Knowledge for the Corporate Group (based in the UK), you will collaborate closely with our established Corporate Knowledge team, partners, and fee earners across Germany and international practice areas.

Your Tasks

1. Identify, develop, and maintain knowledge resources for the corporate practice in Germany and internationally, including standard documents, automated documents, and legal/practical know-how guidance. Coordinate and promote lawyer contributions to document development and knowledge activities.
2. Support existing training programs by preparing and updating training materials, delivering some training sessions, and assisting partners and lawyers in training development and delivery.
3. Facilitate knowledge sharing, including expertise, market trends, and practical experiences, and develop best practices.
4. Keep lawyers informed of legal and market developments, analyzing their impact on the business and clients.
5. Collaborate with Legal Service Delivery teams to develop and promote best practices in transactional processes and technology adoption.
6. Work with Marketing and Business Development teams to provide legal input for client-facing initiatives.

Your Profile

• Experienced corporate lawyer with recent M&A experience, preferably including corporate reorganizations or private equity.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience with German law.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with project coordination abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for multicultural collaboration across jurisdictions.
• Knowledge resource development and training experience are advantageous but not essential.
• Current practice or prior knowledge development experience is a plus.
