Job description:

Special Note

This role will require the candidate to be based out of one of these cities - Munich, Paris, Frankfurt, Barcelona or London.

Job Purpose

To achieve the commercial objectives and targets in Europe region from different channels: building effective business relationships, enhancing brand visibility and promoting Company’s products and services.

Carries marketing campaigns and promotions andincreases the market share in line with set measures and Company’s adoptedpolicies and procedures.



Profile description:

Key Result Responsibilities
  • Achieves and exceeds the set sales targets the OTA channel assigned; constantly reviews financial data to evaluate performance; identifies shortages, recommends changes to respective Manager and implements corrective measures accordingly.
  • Identifies new opportunities to manage/maximize sales adoptingdifferent channels.
  • Meets the stakeholdersto educate and influence them promote Air Arabia products, bundlesand services.
  • Builds rapport with stakeholders and key customers in the respective area with an accurate database.
  • Conducts visits, bench-mark analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position, market conditions, and customer needs.
  • Implements and runs a pro-active and effective OTA accounts management process and communication structure to ensure commercial objectives are fully understood and targets are met and exceeded with clients.
  • Advises management on new OTA opportunities, negotiates contracts, modules and products to ensure best practice is applied and maximum benefit is achieved from the agreements signed with agencies and vendors.
  • Monitors the OTA/API integration processand partners with stakeholders to ensure that solutions and services supplied meet requirements.
  • Monitors the technical efficiency of the OTA customers’ online engines to enable their competitiveness and functionality and to supply them with relevant support.
  • Working on increasing distribution in existing and newer markets in Europe.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
  • Bachelor's degree in Management or equivalent.
  • Additional qualification in Aviation/ IATA/ Tourism is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer applications and usage of Microsoft word, Advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
  • This role is based in Europe and requires EU citizenship to ensure ease of travel and work within the European Union
  • Valid Driver’s License in the assigned territory is preferred.
  • Fluent in English Language (French/ Spanish or German is a plus).
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5years of related sales experience inAviation/Airline or tourism industry, experience with low-cost airline is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3years of experience in OTA sales or OTA management.
  • Possesses effective persuasive sales and marketing skills and techniques.
  • Capable of developing reports, comparison sheets, and charts as well as utilizing statistics to identify trends and supportthe revenue team with recommendations.
  • Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending effective solutions.
  • Cost-oriented, possesses effective persuasive, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Employs a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
  • Capable of understanding market needs, trends, and planning accordingly.
  • Established rapport with clients and government authorities, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
