Key Account Manager (m/w/d)

We need you here: In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients across the avionics, military, and space (AMS) sectors throughout Europe. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer service, both onsite and virtually. Your role also includes:

  1. Build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in areas such as purchasing and R&D.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new customer accounts across the avionics, military, and space sectors.
  3. Negotiate and close deals that meet both customer and company objectives.
  4. Support local sales organizations regarding inquiries and requirements of our customers in these sectors.
  5. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Business Development) to ensure smooth project execution.

Since this is a Key Account role with clients in several countries, regular overseas travel may be required.

Your experience and qualifications:
  • Good understanding of electronic components and their applications in the avionics, military, and space sectors.
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic components, preferably in (outside) sales.
  • Educational background in Electronics, either through university studies or experience.
  • Proficient in MS-Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Goal- and solution-oriented working attitude.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Home workplace with high willingness to travel internationally.
