Your Mission

The Company

The Position

To support the expansion of our activities in Karlsruhe, we are looking for a (Key) Account Manager for digital products (f/m/d).

What does your day as an account manager/(key) account manager look like?

  • You are the local and personal contact for your own customer base. You will maintain and expand this customer base in order to reach (and ideally even exceed) our targets.
  • You collect information about the interests and requirements of your customers, identify trends in the market and thus also act as a source of ideas and co-designer for new products and services
  • In close cooperation with our internal department, you ensure that our customer satisfaction reaches the highest possible service level
  • You participate in customer tendering procedures and negotiate contracts independently
  • Your customers are various contacts from the education sector, primarily universities, colleges and consortia, as well as research institutions
  • You analyse their needs for learning software and proactively propose solutions
  • After your familiarisation period, you will be able to market our services and products and demonstrate how our digital platform and its services work

Requirements

As an account manager, you have the following skills:

  • Completed university degree and at least a few years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in eCommerce or the education industry.
  • Independent and autonomous way of working as well as high quality standards
  • Sound knowledge of (educational) software is a big advantage
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to interact intelligently with an audience
  • You speak/write perfect German and can also converse well in English
  • A positive charisma, can-do mentality and creativity
  • Willingness to travel regularly in Germany and sporadically in Europe (DACH + Belgium HQ)
  • Willingness to participate in a training course in Belgium
