Responsibilities

In order to achieve sales objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share, the Key Account Manager for Hygiene (KAM HY) is responsible for managing existing accounts, identifying sales opportunities, and developing new business. He/she/they are responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and the realization of sales objectives within the specific segments for Hygiene.

The position will focus on developing, maintaining, and improving long-term relationships in the Hygiene market segment, primarily targeting global multinational corporations. He/she/they will cooperate and work closely with internal support teams to coordinate and manage tasks & projects internally and externally to deliver the best value for the customer.

Additionally, the Key Account Manager Hygiene will act as the primary link to the market. He/she/they will proactively gather prospective clients’ needs and market trends, liaise with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Care to ensure these are considered and translated into actions. They will also participate in professional trade fairs and conferences to represent the organization and enhance customer visibility.

  • Develop relationships within existing large strategic accounts, divisions, and locations.
  • Enhance penetration of the existing client base through continuous collaboration on product development.
  • Lead and manage projects to enable growth.
  • Deliver on the value proposition of our solutions at every level.
  • Gain access to and influence decision-makers to pursue business opportunities to a successful conclusion.
  • Take ownership of the relationship between customers and all departments within the production site.
  • Develop and implement medium and long-term account plans based on an understanding of current and future needs.
  • Leverage strategic industry knowledge across the organization.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, responsible for commercial sales targets.
  • Maintain comprehensive contact, lead, and opportunity details in Salesforce.
  • Manage strategic business plans, data analysis for tenders/RFQs, and preparation of Top to Top meetings.
  • Conduct market and competition research, and support marketing and promotional activities.
  • Negotiate contract terms.
  • Responsible for after-sales in cooperation with customer service, ensuring correct handling of purchase orders and customer agreements.
  • Be a proactive team member across the complete sales process: acquisition, sales, supply chain, and after-sales.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar (plus).
  • Relevant post-qualifying certifications.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Ability to travel frequently (50%).
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); additional languages (especially German) preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the Hygiene-related business, including films, paper, absorbents, etc., addressing complex buying centers at B2B2C multinationals.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with project management experience.
  • Knowledge of CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Assertive, competitive, and enjoys technical sales challenges.
  • Achievement-oriented with experience in weekly reporting.
  • Willing to work with an international team and in a dynamic environment.
