Position Overview:

They are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow their existing portfolio of clients on the East Coast of the USA.

You will oversee a diverse portfolio across various industries, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

As a Key Account Manager, your role is vital in client retention and growth, supporting the company's market position and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client needs are met and trust is built and maintained.
  • Grow the portfolio through upselling and cross-selling by identifying opportunities.
  • Develop account-specific strategies and growth plans using data and market insights.
  • Proactively manage potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Create and execute engagement plans, including quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and marketing teams to align goals.
  • Monitor and report on account performance and KPIs, providing insights to leadership.
  • Maintain client retention through regular engagement and risk mitigation.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the account management team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to anticipate client needs.
  • Manage a portfolio valued between $20m-$30m across 20-30 accounts.
  • Require 5+ years in account management, client services, or customer success.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in software development or IT consulting industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of software development processes and lifecycles.
