Role Summary

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for corporate clients in the VCM, driving client acquisition, relationship management, and market intelligence. Success in this position looks like consistently sourcing and onboarding new corporate clients, contributing to revenue growth through tailored VCM solutions, delivering insightful weekly reports that inform company strategy, and enhancing our LinkedIn presence to amplify marketing efforts. This role fits into the organization by bridging sales, marketing, and analytics functions, supporting Sentinel Earth's mission to scale environmental impact through client partnerships while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible remote or hybrid, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source potential corporate clients interested in VCM solutions, leveraging networks and market research to build a robust pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, providing tailored advice on carbon offsetting strategies and facilitating transactions in the VCM.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support LinkedIn campaigns, including content creation, outreach, and engagement to promote Sentinel Earth's VCM offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly analytics and reports on VCM trends, market dynamics, pricing, and regulatory updates to inform internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and foster in-person relationships while working remotely in a self-directed manner.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including trading, compliance, and project development, to ensure seamless client service and alignment with company goals.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying new opportunities in the VCM and related areas, such as Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), to expand client portfolios.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of established experience in client-facing positions within the carbon markets, with a strong focus on the VCM (experience with EACs is a plus).
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Independent and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Proven team player capable of collaborating across functions in a dynamic, sustainability-driven organization.
  • Strong analytical skills for generating market reports and insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage corporate stakeholders effectively.
