Prysmian Group is seeking a Sales Manager for the cable industry in Wuppertal, Germany. The role involves managing client relationships, pursuing new business, and presenting innovative cable solutions across various markets. Candidates should have a relevant degree or extensive industry experience, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. This position requires a proactive "hunter" mentality and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Account Management & Sales Growth:
* Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
* Actively pursue new leads and convert them into long-term customers.
* Serve as the primary contact for your accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Execution:
* Present Prysmian’s cable solutions to customers, highlighting their value in automotive and industrial applications.
* Prepare competitive offers, handle negotiations, and close deals that align with company goals.
Market Awareness:
* Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in industries such as automotive (including EVs), white goods, agriculture machinery, and construction vehicles.
Collaboration & Coordination:
* Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure timely delivery of products that meet customer expectations.
* Support technical discussions with clients to match their requirements with Prysmian’s solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
* A technical or business-related degree OR vocational training with advanced qualifications OR significant and proven experience in the cable industry with application in sectors like automotive, white goods, agriculture machinery, and/or construction.
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and build lasting customer relationships.
Skills & Competencies:
* A "hunter" mindset: proactive, goal-oriented, and motivated by closing deals and growing business opportunities.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand technical needs and propose tailored solutions.
Other Requirements:
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (50-75%).
