Job Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for dedicated customer subjects in terms of Sales and relationship matters for the MML product group. The Key Account Manager coordinates Sales activities throughout the organization and is responsible for price structure, communicating customer needs and coordination of strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quoting and negotiating potential new business
  • Responsible for re-pricing according to contractual obligation for OES/Aftermarket parts and industry disruptions
  • Responsible for planning new business and assure Sales Database is updated accordingly by the responsible team member
  • Responsible for reporting the Sales activities to the Group Office per Group Office requirements (i.e. bi-weekly sales reports, quote log, recoveries, givebacks, commercial issues, etc.)
  • Supports other disciplines such as Quality, Program Management and other customer disciplines interact with the customer per MML Strategy and Policy
  • Supports, develops, and executes Sales Strategy
  • Supports Management in key business-decision-making and Product/Platform Portfolio Strategy
  • Supports Market Intelligence Activities with Marketing

Who We Are Looking For

  • Minimum completion of a University of Applied Sciences degree in engineering, or business administration or related areas
  • Advanced (3-5 years of working experience): Experience gained in the automotive sector or similar industry in a similar function directly dealing with OEMs
  • Strong commercial and technical background required
  • Deep understanding of markets, technology and key trends
  • Analytical and Numeric Thinking / Understanding
  • Change Management
  • Communication / Presentation / Moderation
  • English Skills at Professional Level
