For Puratos Ireland, based in Dunboyne, we are looking for a Key Account Manager.
This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a team with ambitious goals, a start-up attitude, and a strong desire to promote Puratos’ innovative solutions in Health & Wellbeing and Sustainability.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for:
- Ensuring growth in sales, profit, and customer base
- Actively promoting the Group’s product lines
- Developing, leading, and executing the BU strategies aligned with the local and group vision
- Creating strong and long-term partnerships with assigned accounts
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, formulate, and implement a business development plan for key national accounts
- Create and maintain long-term customer partnerships, including senior-level relationships at key accounts and industry bodies
- Understand customers’ manufacturing operations, processes, and policies to define their needs
- Put the customer at the center of all activities, ensuring proactive and responsive support for problem-solving alongside the business development team
- Organize regular customer meetings to develop business and review progress through multidisciplinary status meetings
- Coordinate and negotiate sales deals, including pricing and delivery conditions
- Be overall responsible for the Total Profit & Loss of your accounts, monitor sales results monthly, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet targets
- Manage projects for new product launches, from briefing to launch, ensuring stakeholder alignment and maintaining a customer project list in CRM
- Collaborate with group Business Units to align with product and channel priorities, participating in global/regional account reviews and sharing best practices
Who are we looking for?
- A business degree with experience in large account management, preferably in a B2B food-related environment
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of the sales process
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under pressure and deadlines
- Data-driven, curious, digitally savvy, and interested in local food culture diversity
- Committed to continuous improvement, daring to challenge boundaries to deliver superior value
- Dynamic, proactive, and creative team player who respects others
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Holds a driver’s license and is willing to travel locally and occasionally internationally
