Drive sales to achieve strong price performance and optimum return in the German market, while maintaining a high focus on customer service and fostering a positive environment within the RMT Sales team. Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Drive and execute the sales strategy for products from different origins into the German market, focusing on price achievement, maintaining the best margin over time, and excellence in customer service.
- Plan and coordinate with European production countries—Norway, Scotland, Ireland, and Faroe Islands—to ensure a stable supply of finished products to fulfill contracts and spot sales, and to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Prepare and propose sales projections and budgets in terms of volumes and prices per customer.
- Work on prospecting new customers and maintaining a pipeline to grow the business.
- Prepare sales reports, data analysis, and KPIs to monitor and secure price performance per customer.
- Continuously learn about products from each origin, markets, and customers to realize full potential and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with AR to ensure credit limits are set according to company policies. Manage customer claims to minimize financial impact while maintaining a high service level.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions, economic changes, or industry trends that may affect customer performance and operational efficiency.
Key Competencies:
- Experience in sales within the seafood industry, FMCG, or commodity sales.
- Studies in Sales, Business Administration, or related fields.
- High work ethic and strong values.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to adapt to new demands, priorities, and challenges.
- Familiarity with the salmon farming industry and seafood products is a definite asset.
- Fluent in English.
