Job Description

This role involves supervising sales development in a specific country or region, reporting to the Territory Manager. You will manage sales development, logistics, and new business development in line with company standards (quality, service, margins). Your role also includes proposing relevant strategies to achieve budgeted sales.

Main Tasks:

  1. Sales:
  • Regularly liaising with existing and new customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Utilizing prior knowledge to integrate the Olmix brand with new distributors.
  • Actively promoting to potential customers through physical sales visits, tradeshows, and congresses.
  • Managing a product development pipeline to close opportunities and achieve sales & margins in line with KPIs.
  • Advising on market changes and competitor activities.
  • Developing Plant Care business (+ liquids) across multiple regions.
  • Expanding knowledge from plant care to all Olmix products and applications.
  • Assessing company progress, sales, and marketing successes, and compiling reports for headquarters.
  • Presenting reports on budgets, sales growth or declines, and new business.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensuring smooth business operations meeting company standards and customer satisfaction.
    • Supporting new customers.
    • Supporting internal sales colleagues & key account managers.
  • Implement Strategies:
    • Elaborating and proposing market-specific strategies.
    • Developing strategies and action plans for company growth and sales improvement.
    • Involved in product positioning and global brand marketing development.

    Candidate Profile:

    We are seeking a Key Account Manager for the South/North regions of Germany.

    You should have solid commercial and technical experience in agronomy, including biostimulants, crop protection, organic products, crop nutrition, and seeds. You will work with senior management to develop growth strategies to significantly increase sales. Knowledge of the German region's distribution structures is a plus.
