Overview

Our Key Account Managers are responsible for maximizing sales with existing customers. They also generate sales growth and earnings with new customers in our target markets.

In this role, you report to the Sales Manager in Erlangen.

Responsibilities

What you like to do

  • Independently support and maintain the existing customer base
  • Conduct regular customer visits
  • Monitor existing contracts (account management)
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies/goals profitably
  • Further develop the brand
  • Perform ongoing market analysis and prepare reports on competitors, products, and customer structures
  • Create potential analyses, identify new business areas, and develop measures, including acquiring new customers
  • Perform price calculations and develop strategic pricing
Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in technical sales within the manufacturing sector
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally
  • Knowledge of selling industrial products, preferably technical ceramics
  • Ideally, a degree in a relevant field such as materials science, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Fluent in French and English; German skills are a plus
