Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic customer centric sales team. In this role, you will be supporting and driving value to some of IDC's most strategic and specific client relationships within the technology sector. This role will be focused on delivering results to the company and the best possible customer experience to our valued clients. You will work closely with our Global account teams and product teams to deliver customized market intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure. This Role supports tow of our Key IDC Global Account Selling teams and reports directly to the GVP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business challenges, and identifying opportunities for IDC solutions.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing clients and unlocking new clients, generating new leads.
  • Solution Matching: Matching client needs with appropriate research solutions from IDC's product lines.
  • Sales Support: Preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintaining a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand revenue
  • Performance Tracking: Meeting or exceeding sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and forecasting in SFDC.


Qualifications



  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development --preferably in market research or IT services.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation and AI.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $120,000-$130,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
