Jobbeschreibung

We are supporting a leading international pharmaceutical company in the search for a Key Account Manager to drive commercial success across two high-impact therapeutic areas: Nephrology and Ophthalmology. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new launch and an established portfolio in a field-based, customer-facing role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with healthcare professionals across outpatient and inpatient settings. Identify and engage key decision-makers, support educational initiatives, and develop tailored customer plans in line with local needs.
  • Lead the regional launch of two innovative products within the ophthalmology space. Execute sales and marketing strategies with precision, including market differentiation and positioning against competitors.
  • Deliver against commercial KPIs such as revenue, market share, coverage, and contact frequency. Proactively monitor performance and adjust tactics to ensure regional objectives are met.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other field teams to ensure aligned customer engagement and messaging.
  • Conduct regular territory, market, and customer analyses using segmentation and targeting tools. Translate insights into action through effective customer planning and omnichannel engagement.
  • Stay current through regular participation in training, coaching, and industry events. Support regional and national congresses and help coordinate local educational events.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in a life sciences-related field or certified pharmaceutical sales qualification. A background in pharmacy, biology, or related areas is advantageous.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales
  • Existing HCP relationships in the region a plus
  • Experience launching specialty care products or working in the biologics/VEGF space is desirable

  • Strong communicator with a persuasive, solutions-focused approach
  • Highly autonomous, strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
  • Comfortable using CRM and digital engagement tools for territory management
  • Able to work cross-functionally and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent German and professional English required
