Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Technical Writer/Translator (m/f/d) to help deliver our cutting-edge software solutions to a global audience. In this role, you will play a key part in creating clear and accurate technical content that enhances user experience for our international customers.

What you will be doing:

• Localization of apps, cloud-based solutions and desktop applications as well as testing of localized interfaces
• Participation in the conception of apps/solutions, user interfaces, UX communication, user experience, workflows, product information, web help, user guides, dashboards, etc.
• Creation and translation of documentation and product information, web help and other documents, for our applications and maintenance of existing documentation
• Checking compliance with existing editorial guidelines and updating and developing product and company-specific terminology
• Proofreading of technical and other texts or information used in the apps and tools

Ideally, your skill set covers the following areas:

• Excellent German language skills (essential)
• Very good written and spoken English (essential) and good knowledge of at least one other foreign language
• Ability to work well independently
• Strong organizational and project management skills to be able to keep extensive and diverse projects on track
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team for goal-oriented cooperation with other departments
• Meticulous conversion of complex technical and content-related specifications into clear and concise explanations that are easy to understand
• Quick comprehension of, careful familiarization with, and keen interest in learning new concepts and subject areas
• A commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality, and compliant content, with a strong focus on quality
• A strong interest in localization and UX content trends and technologies, including AI and machine learning technologies
