ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As our new(Junior)Strategy & Development Manager (m/f/d)you will manage various strategic and operational projects simultaneously. As the project leader you will have end-to-end responsibility for your own projects reporting the results directly to the Management Board, while the Strategy & Business Development team provides all the sparring and support you need.

ABOUT YOUR PROJECTS
You will play a key role in shaping the future of ABOUT YOU by addressing core business questions in the high-paced tech and ecommerce environment. Thereby, you will develop a deep understanding of all business aspects of ABOUT YOU and quickly grow a comprehensive strategic and operational skillset. Your work will include strategic growth projects (e.g., conceptualizing and implementing new business models, M&A, ...) as well as projects enabling our growth organisation for both our ecommerce and our B2B SaaS segments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement key strategic and operational projects in cross-functional settings
• Act as a sparring partner for strategic tasks initiated by the Management Board
• Develop new business fields in collaboration with operational teams
• Conduct independent and complex analysis and research
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and analyze relevant KPIs and deduct concrete actions to develop our company

Requirements

• Above average university degree at a top university
• 1-2 years of practical experience in strategy & business development, in a leading consultancy/financial service firm/industry, optionally in a start-up environment
• Stellar analytical skills and distinctive understanding of numbers
• Strong personality to work in a fast-moving scale-up environment
• Intrinsic motivation to actively driveimpactin our business activities
• Quick perception and structured working methods
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
