What you’ll do:

Summary: We seek a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Berlin/Potsdam team focused on shaping and delivering the future of GenAI capabilities on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Your innovative thinking, automation focus, collaborative attitude, and eagerness to tackle challenges will directly impact user experience and service adoption. Join our international AI team in Berlin/Potsdam, working closely with architects, data engineers, UX designers, and other experts in an environment that fosters innovation, growth, and continuous learning.

The Role:

• Develop software (backend/frontend, prototypes, and products) in collaboration with diverse teams, applying recent AI concepts.
• Develop innovative, responsible, and scalable AI-based Cloud services emphasizing automation.
• Implement clean, scalable code.
• Adopt a problem-solving approach to overcome challenges.
• Learn new technologies and practices, especially in generative AI, LLMs, AI-augmented development, and tools.
• Shape project directions and influence key design decisions.

What you bring:

• University degree in computer science or related field, with software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with version control systems like git.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• A passion for learning about new topics in software development and improving processes and user experiences.
