Your Job

What you do

Your daily responsibilities in Editorial Content will include two main components: research (content database management) and editorial work, detailed below:

1. Research & Content Management Tasks:

• Conduct desktop research using secondary data sources on the India region, focusing on finance and hospitality sectors, and create online statistical content.
• Develop an understanding of valid data sources and potential data partners in these regions and industries.
• Generate research topics actively for database development, working closely with the team lead and fellow editors.
• Manage SEO-optimized web content via Statista’s CMS, monitor usage, and keep the database current.
• Edit, publish, and contextualize statistical information in English on statista.com, adhering to editorial style and documentation standards.
• Create and maintain various editorial products, including individual statistics, reports, and topic pages.

Who you are

• Successful completion of undergraduate studies.
• Exceptional written and spoken English skills; editorial experience in English is a plus (please include a cover letter in English).
• Knowledge of one or more Indian languages.
• General knowledge of finance and hospitality topics.
• Ability to describe complex data clearly and concisely.
• Structured, organized, and independent work style with attention to detail and accuracy.
