Your Impact

As a Junior Recruiter based in Cologne, you will be part of our German Campus Recruiting Team. Your role involves recruiting highly qualified consultants, representing McKinsey in the job market, and managing an independent portfolio of tasks.

You will be the first contact for applicants, analyze recruitment data to generate insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. As you gain experience, your responsibilities will grow, involving more challenging activities.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, psychology), preferably with a focus on quantitative subjects
• Initial HR experience, such as internships or roles in recruiting or HR controlling
• Proficiency in Excel analysis and modeling; knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, VBA) is a plus
• Data-driven decision-making skills based on facts and logical reasoning
• Strong communication skills in German and English, adaptable to different audiences and seniority levels
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to initiate and complete tasks independently
• Effective time management in a largely autonomous environment
• Willingness to travel for local and international recruiting activities
