Job summary

jangled nerves – communication architects: We create experience design for museums, exhibitions, and events, merging physical and digital experiences in Stuttgart and Shanghai.

You will support planning, managing, and implementing diverse projects under supervision, gradually developing into an independent project manager while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• A college degree in media management, advertising, communications, or a comparable qualification.
• Initial practical experience through internships, part-time jobs, or early professional experience at an agency or film production company.
• An interest in media production with exposure to film shoots, animation, and programming.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Keynote.
• Strong organizational skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing projects in the areas of film editing, 2D and 3D animation, sound production, photography, filming, and programming.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams in close collaboration with the creative direction team.
• Assisting with the organization and management of projects throughout all project phases—from planning to implementation.
• Creating and maintaining schedules, as well as assisting with capacity planning and project controlling.
• Coordinating tasks, information, and deadlines, and tracking agreed-upon milestones.
• Assisting with communication with national and international clients.

jangled nerves – communication architects: We create experience design: spatial and media-based experiences and spatial communication for museums, exhibitions, themed spaces, showrooms, visitor centers, trade shows, and events. Our interdisciplinary team in Stuttgart and Shanghai specializes in the fascinating intersection of the physical and digital worlds. We bring together in-house expertise and services in strategic consulting, conceptualization, and design with those of a planning firm for temporary structures, museum design, and exhibition architecture, as well as production for film, media, and interactive experiences. Our mission is to create collective experiences that leave a lasting impression and enrich brands with a dimension that remains yet to be discovered.

Would you like to help shape exciting national and international media projects and learn how creative ideas are turned into compelling results? As a Junior Project Manager (m/f/x), you’ll support our team in planning, managing, and implementing a wide variety of projects. You’ll work closely with our interdisciplinary teams and the creative direction department, and gradually develop into an independent project manager.
