Job summary

SoftProject GmbH is seeking a (Junior) Project Manager to take ownership of customer engagements and shape digital transformations for clients in Europe. You will guide projects through initiation to handover, coordinating diverse teams and maintaining timelines, budget, and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project management, a relevant degree, strong German and good English, with French being a plus. The role offers hybrid work and a collaborative ONECompany culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in software/IT/digital transformation/implementation projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
• Equivalent professional experience through technical or business background.
• Experience coordinating project activities, stakeholders or project teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Structured, proactive, and solution oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent German and good English; French is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and gradually own customer implementation projects across the full lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, testing, go-live and handover to support.
• Coordinate project activities among customers, consultants, developers, support teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, deliverables and quality objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with customer project managers and contribute to project success.
• Identify potential risks and support mitigation measures.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops and reviews.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, presentations and documentation.
• Ensure transparent communication between all stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented project environment.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within software, IT, digital transformation, or implementation projects.
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Alternatively, equivalent professional experience gained through a technical or business background.
• Experience coordinating project activities, stakeholders, or project teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Excellent German skills and good English communication skills; fluency in French is highly desirable.
