Junior Project Manager

We are hiring a Junior Project Manager

Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.

This role involves managing projects with complex and evolving software technologies, focusing on customer and partner satisfaction through effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, budget, and resources.
2. Supporting risk and issue identification with mitigation strategies.
3. Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
5. Supporting delivery schedules of third-party deliverables.
6. Advocating appropriate Canonical technologies to customers.

• Strong academic background in science, software engineering, or IT.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Solution-oriented mindset with leadership experience from academic or extracurricular activities.
• Track record of exceeding expectations and a passion for technology.
• Professional English communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
• Respect for diversity and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Self-motivation, result orientation, and ability to travel internationally twice a year.
