Overview

(Junior) Product Manager - Solino (m/f/d) – Opto GmbH

Standort: München, Jena, Annecy, Montélimar (Frankreich)

Aufgabe

• Responsibility for the Solino system: Supervision of the product in close collaboration with Sales, Hard- & Software Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and other departments.
• Handle customer inquiries: Collect, analyze and prioritize incoming product and solution requests.
• Build customer relationships: Identify and develop new contacts and partnerships.
• Strategic product development: Contribute to the roadmap and product strategy.
• Market and competitor analysis: Monitor industry trends and derive actionable recommendations.
• Global product positioning & launches: Support the market introduction of new features in hardware and software; participate in global trade fairs and customer meetings.

Qualifikation

• Degree in Physics, Engineering, Optics, Life Sciences, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional experience in product management or a comparable role, ideally within optical systems, lab equipment, medical technology or similar products.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software integration in complex technical products with focus on artificial intelligence.
• Customer-oriented mindset paired with a structured and strategic approach to work.
• Global willingness to travel of around 20%.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
