We are seeking a Maritime Satellite Communications Solutions Engineer to join our clients Sales Engineering team. This position offers the chance to design and implement cutting-edge satellite solutions while working closely with a skilled team. Enjoy the flexibility of working from Hamburg or nearby locations, with the responsibility of supporting maritime satellite installations and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute maritime satellite solutions, including link budgeting, terminal identification, and capacity sourcing.
• Collaborate with the Sales Engineering team to capture customer requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Handle SATCOM installations and provide support for maritime satellite services.
• Work with hub and antenna technologies, including iDirect and Newtec systems.
• Produce detailed documentation and support the NOC & Operations team to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience in SATCOM design, link budgeting, terminal identification, and capacity sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of hub and antenna technologies.
• Experience with SATCOM installations and working in the maritime sector.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Antenna commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of IP networks, including firewalls and routing.
• Familiarity with OneWeb or Inmarsat systems.
