As a (Junior) Platform Engineer (all genders), your mission is to help maintain and further develop our internal self-service platform. This platform enables our development teams to deploy, monitor, and scale their applications efficiently - while upholding the highest standards of security and reliability.

Du bist verantwortlich für / You are responsible for:

• You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable and secure cloud infrastructure that forms the backbone of our applications and services.
• You play a crucial role as a key enabler between development and operations, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• You take ownership of evaluating and integrating new technologies to continuously improve system efficiency and security.

Das bringst du mit / That's what you bring to the table:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field, and bring 2-5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role.
• You have practical experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS (particularly services like EKS, RDS, EC2) and you’ve worked with Terraform.
• You can write and maintain code in Go (preferred), or may also have experience with JavaScript or Python.
• You have experience in at least two of the following: Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting, Postgres, Prometheus, Grafana, NATS JetStream.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level) and can communicate clearly.
• You bring strong problem-solving skills, a proactive, hands-on approach, and a passion for continuous learning, taking ownership, and working in a collaborative environment.
• Ideally, you have a passion for modern security principles and/or hands-on experience implementing compliance frameworks.
