Job Description:

• Own processes related to withholding taxes, including daily reconciliation and settlement, to ensure accurate financial services.
• Provide detailed analyses of tax events in our retail business to support decision-making and problem-solving.
• Support process optimization for taxes such as capital gains tax, church tax, solidarity surcharge, and financial transaction taxes by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct annual tests of tax certificate calculations and prepare internal training for client-facing teams.
• Identify legislative changes, communicate them, and support their implementation to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Completed a banking apprenticeship or hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in securities services, brokerage, or asset management; experience in a bank’s middle or back office is advantageous.
• Knowledge of securities and banking processes, including taxation related to corporate actions, securities transfers, on-exchange trading, and interest payments.
• Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment, managing priorities while maintaining quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
