When you join Amazon as an Area/Shift Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to ensure your area of the business keeps pace with demand. This hands-on role involves understanding the complexities of global operations and ensuring seamless processes. You will implement your team’s strategies to drive productivity and collaborate closely with colleagues to address challenges, making each day unique.
You will work shifts at one of our operational sites, focusing on maintaining safety standards and process efficiency. Your daily tasks include managing your team, addressing escalations, working on process improvements, and contingency planning. You will also analyze data and performance metrics with leaders and discuss technical improvements with engineers to ensure operational success.
Customer Fulfillment (CF) is the backbone of Amazon, handling over 1.5 million orders daily. Based in Fulfillment Centres, our team manages inventory and ensures speedy deliveries around the clock. We employ a diverse range of skills, from handling physical products to analyzing data to improve our operations.
