Job Description:

We, the logistics team, take care of the management and expansion of the ABOUT YOU logistics network. We are responsible for and coordinate the cooperation with national and international logistics partners. We always keep an eye on our relevant key figures and constantly develop our logistics processes to provide our customers with the best possible service (the best possible shopping experience). Together, we manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and transportation service providers, around the world. We use KPIs and reporting systems to coordinate and monitor the daily flow of goods and to continuously develop and adapt our existing logistics network and infrastructure. We take care of all logistics services for our warehouse network, all transport services and, of course, the packaging materials used. We do not focus on individual areas, but pursue a universal approach: we face the operational challenge and develop strategic recommendations for action. As a (Junior) Logistics Manager – Network Specialist (m/w/d), you will be responsible for steering and controlling the logistics network, as well as improving its efficiency.

Responsibilities

Take care of the short-term network steering with close focus of customer-related impacts

• Monitor and report logistics network KPIs and find efficient and effective ways of coping with plan deviations in consultation with stakeholders (e.g. Inbound operations)
• Monitor and improve consistency of stock data across different data sources
• Be an expert in warehouse and stock processes and support with that knowledge different departments within ABOUT YOU
• Deep dive and provide insights on stock development for the Fulfillment Model by ABOUT YOU
• Engage in continuous improvement projects, e.g. by establishing network steering-related reports and dashboards in close connections with logistics analysts

Requirements

Excellent business administration or comparable degree, ideally with a focus on logistics or SCM

• First experience in the e-commerce or logistics environment
• Analytical and data-driven mindset combined with a focused approach on efficiency and solutions
• Strong Communicator with stakeholder management skills and service mentality
• Quick perception and structured working methods
• Willingness to develop and improve processes proactively both in teams and independently
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), experience with SQL and/or Tableau would be beneficial
• Business fluent in English, German optional
