Role Overview

We are seeking a sales talent eager to expand their career. For the northern Germany sales territory, we are looking for:

(Junior) Key Account Manager Bakery Chain (m/w/d) - Region Norddeutschland

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relations: Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing offers, delivery performance, and complaint handling.
  • Consulting: Develop tailored solutions for bakery and food projects based on customer needs, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Team Collaboration: Build long-term partnerships externally and internally, especially with R&D and marketing teams.
  • Development: Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization to grow your key account portfolio and support customer development.
  • Transparency: Regularly report on activities, market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Representation: Represent Puratos at trade fairs, industry events, and association activities.
Candidate Profile
  • Sales Talent: Enjoy sales, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are confident in presentations.
  • Experience: Have initial experience in sales, key account, or category management, ideally in bakeries, food, or FMCG sectors.
  • Education: Hold a degree in economics, food technology, nutrition, or a comparable qualification.
  • Passion for Food: Have an affinity for bakery and confectionery products and can inspire customers with innovative concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in German, both spoken and written; good English skills are a plus.
  • Personality: Positive, proactive, honest, diplomatic, precise, and collegial.
  • Travel: Willing to travel within Northern and North-West Germany to personally support clients.
