Project Description
For our client Merck, we are looking for a Junior IT Project Manager to support ongoing and upcoming IT initiatives. The project requires someone with a generalist IT background and strong organizational skills, who is familiar with the specific regulatory and operational environment of the pharmaceutical sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects
• Support project managers in tracking milestones, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners
• Prepare documentation and maintain project records
• Support risk and issue management processes
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Initial experience in IT project management or project coordination
• Understanding of basic project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Independent and structured working style
• Mandatory: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GxP, validation processes, or regulated environments
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project
