N26 is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join the Payments team, focusing on the Everyday Banking domain. This hybrid role supports work from Berlin or Barcelona with autonomy to tackle complex, high-volume systems.

You will contribute to the full production lifecycle, collaborate with Product and stakeholders, and continuously improve the iOS stack while embracing modern architectures and quality practices. Relocation support is available.

• Strong Swift and iOS SDK knowledge with concurrency and memory management concepts.
• Experience with iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or Modular).
• Proven ability to write robust unit and integration tests for critical app workflows.

This is a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin.

Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy. As an iOS Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis.

In This Role, You Will

• Participate in the N26 iOS community, facilitating cross team collaboration
• Work with Product, customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right products and solutions
• Expand and develop your iOS knowledge, skills, and technology expertise
• The full production lifecycle of all team services can be covered by you
• Close collaboration with Engineering Manager / Technical Leads
• Autonomously drive progress end-to-end and be the one to find solutions

• Strong Swift & iOS SDK expertise, with a deep understanding of core concepts like concurrency, memory management, and local data persistence.
• Architectural awareness: Experience working with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture) in large-scale codebases.
• Quality-first mindset: Hands-on experience writing robust unit and integration tests for critical app workflows.
• Collaborative attitude: Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset that thrives in an agile, cross-functional environment.
