As a senior iOS Engineer, you will own end-to-end mobile deliverables, mentor peers, and influence the mobile roadmap.

About the opportunity:

You will work in the Cards and Digital Wallets segment. This is where millions of N26 customers manage their physical and virtual cards and interact with digital wallets, powering secure and seamless everyday spending.

As a highly senior, proactive, and enthusiastic iOS Engineer, you will drive technical excellence in a fast-paced environment with frequent priority shifts. You will act as a key technical bridge, supporting multiple backend teams in parallel while setting exceptionally high standards for mobile development.

As senior iOS Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technologies and frameworks to solve customer-centric, complex, and engaging problems on a daily basis.

In this role, you will:

• Elevate Mobile Standards: Proactively improve the iOS tech stack, enforce rigorous testing methodologies, and set top-tier engineering standards.
• Bridge Multiple Teams: Support and align with multiple backend teams in parallel to deliver robust features for physical/virtual cards and digital wallets.
• Navigate Fast-Paced Dynamics: Thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent changes in priorities, turning shifting requirements into solid solutions.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers (PM) and UX designers to build intuitive, customer-centric products used by millions.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Guide technical projects from conception to completion, take part in roadmap definition, and mentor the wider iOS community.

• Deep iOS Mastery: Extensive experience with SwiftUI, Objective-C, and a wide variety of iOS frameworks.
• Scale & Testing: Experience (or a deep understanding) of customer-facing apps used by millions, coupled with a strong focus on automated testing and quality.
• End-to-End Ownership: Proven track record of driving complex technical projects from start to finish.
• Language: Full professional proficiency in English.
