Junior Human Resources Generalist (m/f/d)

Our international HR team is looking for a well-versed HR allrounder to support the team on payroll matters and employee lifecycle services across multiple locations. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting essential HR functions, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee end-to-end payroll for our head office and regional offices including payroll processing, maintain payroll records, manage adjustments, and address employee payroll-related inquiries while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations as per the local labor law.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate seamless employee onboarding and exit processes, draft employment contracts, and manage all HR documentation in line with company policies and labor laws.
• Employee Relations & HR Support: Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and employee inquiries, while actively contributing to HR process improvements and automation initiatives.
• HR Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, generate and analyze HR metrics, including workforce headcount, attrition, compensation, and leave utilization. Support internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Vendor & Invoice Management: Process and reconcile HR-related invoices, coordinate with external service providers, and collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments.

What we expect:

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• A few years of relevant professional HR experience, ideally in an international environment
• Good knowledge of German payroll-related matters and HR regulations
• Hands-on experience in using and administrating HR software/systems
• Very good knowledge of relevant MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
• Service orientation, proactiveness, and ability to handle multiple stakeholders and changing priorities
• Analytical working style with strong attention to detail and accuracy
