We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior HR Generalist to join our team and support our HR operations in both the UK and Munich offices.

Job Summary

The Junior HR Generalist will support various HR functions and initiatives, providing administrative and operational assistance to the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop within the HR field, gaining experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Performance Management:
  • Provide support in the administration of performance review processes.
  • Help prepare documentation and track performance management activities.
  • Training & Development:
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training sessions.
  • Support the implementation of career development programs.
  • Compliance & Policy Management:
  • Help ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in the UK and Germany.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and assist with data entry and analysis.
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide support in researching and benchmarking compensation practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, internship, or relevant administrative position.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and labor laws in the UK and Germany.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) or coursework in HR is a plus.
  • Experience in the professional services or consultancy industry.
