The company mainly serves clients in the food industry across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. With around 430 employees, our European operations are based in Zülpich, encompassing production, research, development, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new flavors aligned with customer projects and proactive initiatives
  • Assist senior flavorists in tasks ensuring adherence to briefing guidelines, costs, legislation, and deadlines
  • Match competitor flavors and optimize existing flavors for specific applications
  • Evaluate analytical results, including chromatography and sensory analyses
  • Introduce and evaluate new raw materials
  • Collaborate with departments such as Application, Sensory, Marketing, and Sales on project handling
  • Support production in transferring flavors from laboratory to manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Background in food science and/or flavors
  • Flavor development training or experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
