Responsible for customer support for various types of wind turbine converters and electronics, on-site or at customer locations.
Repair, installation, commissioning and maintenance of variable speed drives and components on onshore and offshore wind turbines.
General service and maintenance of wind turbine converters.
Troubleshooting electrical converters and various electrical equipment.
Preparation of documentation for all work involved, preparation of detailed service reports.
Ensure quality standards and work safety.
Assist engineering in the validation of new products, at the customer's, supplier's or in-house test centre.
Assist with customer documentation (quotations, technical reports, technical solutions, electrical drawings and manuals).
Ability to read and work with a variety of electrical schematics.
Understanding of basic electro-mechanical principles.
Ideally you will have the following experience and skills:
University degree in a technical field in engineering or degree in a technical field with additional relevant work experience in the wind energy industry desired.
A minimum of 5 years work experience.
Relevant experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Knowledge of the renewable energy industry is an advantage.
Experience and training with various frequency converter manufacturers in the areas of repair, installation, commissioning and maintenance is an advantage.
Very good communication skills and a confident manner towards customers are a matter of course for you.
You have good written and spoken German and English skills (C1).
You are proactive, motivated and have a solution-oriented approach.

You are comfortable working at height and offshore.
You have a class B driving licence.
