We’re on the lookout for a motivated new team member to join our Shopify team as a Junior E-Commerce Manager (m/f/x). In this role, you’ll actively contribute to the day-to-day operations of our online stores across multiple markets, playing a key role in shaping a seamless and engaging customer experience.
You’ll take ownership of updating product pages, refining UX/UI elements, and coordinating smooth and timely product launches. Working closely with our tech team and guided by our E-Commerce Manager, you'll help ensure the flawless functionality of our websites, swiftly resolve issues, and continuously implement improvements that enhance the user journey.
Your work will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, user engagement, and revenue growth—within a dynamic, fast-paced e-commerce environment where your ideas and input truly make a difference.
Manage content: create and update product pages, landing pages, and collections in Shopify across multiple markets (DACH, France, Italy)
Support product launches: assist with product launches (uploading assets, optimizing product descriptions).
Maintain website quality: perform quality assurance (QA) on new website changes, report any bugs to the engineering team, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
Adapt creative assets: crop and resize images to fit mobile and desktop layouts; ensure visual consistency across platforms.
Collaborate across teams: participate in regular team calls to provide status updates, ask questions, and stay aligned. Communicate effectively using tools like Slack and Asana.
Cross-functional teamwork: work closely with Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams under the guidance of the E-commerce Manager to keep the webshop running smoothly and aligned with campaigns.
Contribute to webshop strategy: take part in brainstorming sessions to explore new features and improvements, gain insight into how our tech and design teams collaborate, and share your own ideas.
Learn with data: get hands-on exposure to e-commerce analytics tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Understand how data shapes UX decisions and drives business results.
Support UX/UI Research: help the E-commerce Manager gather and organize user experience insights, conduct competitor benchmarking, and analyze user behavior to inform design improvements.
Experience with CMS platforms:You’ve previously worked with content management systems such as Shopify, WordPress, or other e-commerce tools — and you’re comfortable navigating digital platforms.
Quick to learn:You’re curious, adaptable, and enjoy working in fast-paced environments where hands-on learning is part of the journey.
Detail-oriented & organized:You take pride in structured work, double-check your results, and can be counted on for accuracy and reliability.
Confident communicator in English:You’re comfortable using English in both written and spoken form — it’s our primary language for collaboration across teams.
Knowledge of German, French, or Italian, as these are key markets for us.
Basic skills in HTML/CSS or visual tools like Lightroom or Photoshop.
